Cranbourne CC Senior Coaching Announcement
Date of Event Cranbourne Cricket Club: Tue Jul 17, 2018 11:51AM

Cranbourne Cricket Club appoints and welcomes Matt Blackman as senior coach for season 2018/19.

Blackers joins us from Rowville CC where he has played mainly first XI cricket for 26 years along with coaching juniors and seniors for 10 + years. With the wealth of knowledge and experience we will gain by having Matt on board as our senior playing coach it will be exciting to see the development of our club under his leadership.

Blackers is known as a strong top order batsman who looks to build an innings for his team through having a great work ethic. He believes that if you are willing to graft your innings and occupy the crease the rewards will come. One of Matt’s great skills is his communication between all at the club. This was shown when he was a junior president at Rowville CC for many years. Matt with all his playing and coaching experience has also played in the reputable Country Week competition on a couple of occasions.

Matt's attitude is a simple one “ALL IN” he will bring a holistic approach to training with all players that will improve player standards along with endeavouring for all players across all grades to have consistent results.

The committee is excited and encourages everyone to get behind Matt as he carries and shares the same values and vision of where our club wants to go in the future. CCC looks forward to what Matt will bring our club both on and off the field as we believe he is the perfect person to create a great club culture at Cranbourne Cricket Club.

Cranbourne Cricket Club would like to welcome Matt and his wife Lyndal and sons Riley, Taylor and Jayden to our club.
